Jurisdiction Expansion (2016)

In 2016, the jurisdiction of Srinagar Municipal Corporation was extended and restructured through SRO-72 (02.03.2016), resulting in the creation of 73 Municipal Wards. Later, Baagh-i-Mahtaab was added through SRO-219 (29.06.2016), increasing the total to 74 Municipal Wards.
